Maritime Engineering​

JHKA provides specialist engineering design, condition assessment and technical certification for marine and coastal infrastructure across NSW and beyond. Our maritime practice is built on more than 35 years of waterfront engineering experience, applying AS 4997 Guidelines for the Design of Maritime Structures alongside relevant marine loading codes covering wave action, tidal variation, vessel impact, corrosion exposure and scour.

Structural Engineering

Our structural engineering practice covers the full range of building types — residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use — across concrete, steel, timber and masonry construction systems. We deliver integrated structural solutions from scheme design and load path analysis through to construction documentation, connection detailing and Principal Certifier support. For existing structures, we undertake structural capacity reviews, condition assessment and remediation design in accordance with Australian and international standards

Civil Engineering

We provide civil engineering design services for land development, subdivision and public domain infrastructure across NSW. Our scope encompasses road geometry and pavement design, stormwater drainage, retaining walls, earthworks, and bridges. All civil documentation is prepared to relevant authority standards — with experience assisting in obtaining Development Consent, Construction Certificates and Occupation Certificates.
