C W Henstock and Associates Pty Ltd was a well-known and respected Civil, Maritime, and Structural Consulting Engineering practice established in 1988.
Since April 1988, the company has acted as Planning and Design Consultants to several organisations for Civil Engineering activities in the field of waterfront development, and recreational and tourist-related facilities. The company has acted as a Design Consultant to two major marina development companies with marina facilities in NSW, and facilitated remedial/ refurbishment and expansion works for many other marinas.
Between 1993 and 2003, C W Henstock & Associates Pty Ltd provided ongoing Consultancy Engineering Services in maritime works to Defence Estate Organisation and the Project Director, Garden Island, Sydney, for the refurbishment and redevelopment of naval wharf facilities and foreshore structures at Garden Island and other naval facilities in and around Sydney Harbour. Design and other consultancy projects were undertaken concurrently for HMAS Creswell, Jervis Bay.
In 1997, the firm has expanded its activities into the field of Structural Engineering by adding experienced members in its Project Team.
C W Henstock and Associates Pty Ltd provided consultancy engineering services for more than 30 years, including investigation of concept designs, detailed engineering services, contract documentation with supervision / inspection during construction, design of a number of bridges in Tasmania, and Civil projects ranging from carparks, retaining walls, seawalls, buildings and Maritime structures. The Engineering team of C W Henstock and Associates Pty Ltd was led by its Director Mr. Colin Henstock and was assisted by Mr. P. Myooran as Engineering Design Manager.
JHK & Associates Pty Ltd (JHK) took over the projects handled by C W Henstock & Associates Pty Ltd in June 2019. In this process, JHK obtained the operating name of C W Henstock and Associates. Having acquired the widely experienced Engineering personnel and name of C W Henstock & Associates Pty Ltd, JHK asserts extensive experience and capacity to handle Civil, Structural and Maritime engineering consultations.
