The JHK Team is led by a Registered Professional Engineer, Mr Pira Myooran, the Principal, who is backed by more than 44 years of experience in design and construction of buildings, bridges and maritime structures, supervision of construction, contract administration and project management. This includes management of Construction and maintenance of roads, maintenance of bridges, and hydrological studies; Mr. Myooran is a qualified and practicing Civil, Structural and Maritime Engineer with more than 27 years’ experience in Australia.

The Principal is supported directly by an active and professional team comprising of talented Managers and Engineers. Ms Sharon Moloney, the Project Coordinator and our Quality Assurance Manager, heads the team with the support of Ms Maria DiPasqua, our Accounts and Administrative Manager. The Engineering team comprises of Ms Sachini Fernando, who is the Manager of Engineering Services and qualified Professional Engineers.

Registered Professional Engineer in Civil and Structural Engineering with more than 8 years of experience in design of Civil and Maritime Structures, Managing Design and Client coordination of projects, Quality Assurance of design process, Condition Assessment Inspections and reporting of various structures including Concrete Plants, Masts and Towers and Buildings etc., Engineering reports including Safety in Design, Condition assessment , design etc., Finite Element modelling analysis.
As a Senior Design Engineer, she has completed designs of Reinforced Concrete, Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Timber structures. She is experienced in the design and inspection of Seawalls, Boat Ramps, Retaining Walls, Bridges, Pontoons, Jetties, gangways. |
Experienced project coordinator with experience in coordinating specialist inputs for design projects, coordination of tender submissions, preparation of environmental reports and submissions to accompany planning approvals processes, and liaison with various levels of government and public authorities. Development, collation, and implementation of Quality Management System in compliance with AS/NZS ISO 9000:2016 requirements, and collation and implementation of organisation’s WHS policy and OHS Management System in compliance with AS/NZS ISO 45001:2018.
